The Toshiba DK280 is a fully digital hybrid system, with a basic configuration of 0x0. There is a choice of analogue trunks, digital trunks (DASS or I421), digital extensions and analogue extensions. The system consists of 1 base cabinet and up to a maximum of 5 expansion cabinets (size determined by CPU card in use).

The DK16 is a smaller version of the DK280, and can take analogue and digital (ISDN2 only) lines. The system supports both analogue and digital extensions, with the basic system being pre-configured with 4 analogue lines and 8 digital extensions
